Volunteer
Monitoring
As part of the Pacific Community, PMRI wishes to encourage everyone to
participate in the management of our marine resources. A critical part
of
understanding an environment is having access to a long term data.
Volunteers have an important part to play in gathering data about
changes in the marine environment that can then be translated into
management actions.
Adopt-a-Coral
Interacting with the environment is a powerful tool for learning. Using
our coral reefs, you and your students can take a closer look at how
our local environment changes over the school year.

Pacific
Gray Literature Library
This project is a PMRI initiative to create a comprehensive
web-accessible
database of Pacific marine resource literature. This project is an
continuation of the
Marianas
Marine Resource Bibliography (307kb PDF file) originally compiled
for the
CNMI
Coastal Resources Management Office. This purpose of this
electronic
library is twofold:
1) Make gray literature easy(er) to
find and access.
2) Create a centralized location for gray
literature storage.
